Thanks to my friends who have left comments...we LOVE comments! Lets us know people are looking at our blog. It is such a fun surprise when we log in and there are new comments. So, if you are a comment leaver...you rock and keep em coming...if you are not, just click on the link that says comments and comment away! We want to hear from you! Glad you like our new look Stac and Boo! :)
We are trying to adjust to coming back from Colorado so suddenly...getting unpacked (still...) and getting things moving on as usual here. Our little Matty is talking up a storm...especially when his Dad is in sight. He giggles and coos and oohs. It is SO fun! He is still a big boy - still not real fat, just solid! But the rolls on his arms are SOOOO cute in my opinion. Why he only has rolls there I'll never know. He is 2 months old and is already getting in 3 to 6 month clothes. He is built like his Daddy (which is funny being that he is adopted). More and more people are commenting that he looks like Brian - so fun! He is such a joy. Stil VERY passionate this little boy is! He is either giggling and over the moon with joy, or he is SCREAMING! My friend Jessica was laughing at me today as I "rocked" him in his car seat to try to get him to stop screaming. Rocking for our little guy is more like violent jolting...but it is the ONLY thing that works. Oh, and by the way...BABY WISE ROCKS! My child slept 10 hours the last 3 nights! WHOA! Now we just have to get our routine down during the day. Any advice from anyone on how much they should still be sleeping...trying to figure out the whole awake, nap, play, sleep time now that he is a little older...let me know!
Okay, so here is our whirlwind of a weekend...including Father's Day Dinners, our first ever play date with so many cute friends, and time with my fam! Enjoy the pics below...

A few updates...
Well, Colorado was wonderful! We enjoyed our assignment so very much! Our team got very close...they are like family to us! We were sad to leave early! There are some great stories from our time there though. Kids we got to know that began a relationship with Christ, leaders that felt cared for and loved, living in true community, etc...it was just great!
Most of you probably know that we had to come back early to deal with some adoption issues. Matthew's birth great grandmother has filed a suit for custody...we are now having to deal with that, but have hired a great lawyer and are just taking one day at a time!
Thanks for all your prayers and thoughts!
Matty loved Colorado! he did great on the plane and in the higher altitude...no problems at all! The snow was a fun gift in the middle of June!

This is the view Brian and I had from our assign team house. This is the view from our back porch. When Matty ate at about 5 in the morning, this was the sunrise we saw...
Caught Dad and Matty taking a nap!
Snow in June in Colorado! It was beautiful!
The girls we lived with in our assign team housing and Matty - Matt had some great little mommies while I was working!
