Visit with a new friend...Ryan Tootle!

Hi friends...

It's me - Matt! We went to visit my new friend Ryan. We are only four and a half weeks apart and I know we will be great friends! It was fun to meet him and see how tiny I use to be. Ryan is SOOOOO cute. His Mommy and Daddy (Rod and Jessica) are taking great care of him! They are in love with Ryan - but who couldn't be?!? He is really cute and cuddly! I also got to play with another boy who is bigger than both of us. His name is Jack! He was showing us the ropes...how to sit up and crawl! It was awesome! Our Mommy's and Daddy's took SO many pictures! I was over it! Enough flashes in our tiny little eyes...I mean come on people! Enjoy the pictures though...

My beautiful friend Ryan Tootle

Here are all the proud Dad's and their boys! How fun!

Three Mom's...Jessica is on the far left with little Ryan, then me and Matty, and then Brooke and Jack! We will be great friends. What a blessing babies are...

I was over the flashes at this point! Sorry Ryan for SCREAMING in your little ear!

Two babies with two passies...doesnt get much better than this!

Bath Time!

Matthew loves bath time! He sits in the water and sometimes gets so relaxed he falls asleep! There is just nothing cuter than naked babies! The kid is growing SO fast! Everyone is shocked when we tell them he is only 5 weeks old. He is not fat yet (except for the rolls on his arms and the fact that he officially has two chins...)...he is just SO long! I figured bath pictures was the best way to really show his growth! Enjoy!

The full monty! Poor kid...he is gonna kill me someday for putting a naked picture of him on the internet!

Bathtime is always great Daddy and Matty time!

First A&M Football photo op....

Tonight, we went to a banquet for a school here in Boerne. Stephen McGee, the A&M quarterback was the speaker. He was a VERY impressive and sweet kid! Talked about his faith and life lessons...we loved listening to him and it made us proud to be Aggies! :) We got an A&M football and Stephen signed it to Matthew...and he took a picture with him. How neat! Not a bad looking kid...I'm talking about my son of course..hee hee :)

Snow cones and the park!

What a fun day we had today! It was a beautiful day so we went to the park here in Boerneand ate snow cones. We went with our good friends Jason, Lindsey and Jackson Patchell...the boys enjoyed playing and running around together in the grass by the river. Matthew was eager to be big enough to play with the boys! Matthew LOVES being outside...it really calms him down - so we try to spend as much time outside as possible!

Daddy and Matthew here - we have to get Matthew naked sometimes so he will wake up enough to eat! Poor kid...hanging out on the river park in a diaper!

Lindsey's parents - Nana and Pop Pop were in town...they love Matthew and it is sweet that Jackson can share them! :)

Brian and Jackson are playying chase! Boys will be boys....always!

Hi!

Hello to everyone! Below are a few more pics of Matt. One of his Grandpa's, his mommy, a cousin, his Dad, etc... I love the last one...we call it the "baby hawk". I cannot wait for you all to meet him. He is a GREAT eater. Made his doctor laugh at how much he is eating. He is in the 90% in his height, and the 50% in weight...so, he is long and lean! His eyes are still this very cool greenish, grey color...He is growing SO fast! I cannot believe how much he has changed in just 3 weeks (he'll be 3 weeks tomm.)! I have always prayed that our children would be passionate...about God, family, life, etc... well....he is that for sure! He LOVES cuddling and being held, and he LOVES screaming. The child does not cry...he screams! We just love him. When he gets really worked up, we have to hold him tight and dance with him in our living room! He likes movement and loves being held! He is still a great sleeper though! Gives his lungs a rest at night so he is always prepared to use em in the morning! ;) He is just the best! We are loving every single moment!

As for the adoption...no new news. Which is okay with us. We have not heard from the birthfather...that's about all on that. Truly...nothing exciting happening there! So, we press forward, trusting and hoping. We assume God is teaching us patience right now...and more than anything, teaching us to trust HIM above all else. It is difficult at times, but Matthew is well worth any fear or struggle. He is our son and we love him.

Love you all and cannot wait to hear from you guys!
