1. Matthew prefers running to walking or crawling now. He still takes some hard spills..grunts, gets back up and he's off again.
2. Every cabinet in our bathroom has been opened along with every drawer. Every thing has been pulled out and put in his mouth...yes, I know, dangerous, I try to stay as close as possible.
3. Forget taking a shower with him on the bathroom floor surrounded by toys and a bottle anymore. I think today was the last time for that. I was in the shower, watching him play. I closed my eyes to rinse my hair and I open them...MAYBE 15 seconds later and Matthew has opened the top drawer and has a razor in his mouth. Thank goodness it still had the cover on it!
4. Forget cooking anything while he is awake. Every drawer, every cabinet...pulled open and every content pulled out. Tonight, we went to bed with a puffy foot because Matty pulled the Goerge Forman grill out and it plunked on his foot. Not one tear. A grunt and he was off!
5. We love brushing our teeth! Try taking the toothbrush away....just try it. We dont try it anymore. We wait for him to be distracted and grab it as fast as possible.
6. As I have said from day one...my baby boy is passionate. That being said, we have found a bit of a temper...I have teeth marks on my back and on my hand...from today. Thats right - one day! Can you put a 10 and a half month old on time out? I did today - twice! Oh, I thought I knew sooo much about kids...ha! I hope I am doing all of this right!
7. Our toys are boring now. We want to do a toy trade! Hey Ryan Tootle...are you up for a little toy swap?
8. Matthew has found a fake smile (closes eyes really tight and shows all his teeth) and a fake laugh (same as above except you hear a little squeal)
9. This might be my favorite age yet. His personality comes out in BIG ways everyday. And, I am moving so much, I am bound to lose weight! :)
10. Oh yeah, forget eating out. Ridiculousness is all I can say. Its more of a wrestling match than a nice meal time. I need more recipe's Stace...we are home bound for meal time for a while!
11. Oh how we LOVE the dishwasher...climbing in it, sitting on the door, pulling things out, etc...despite Mom's best "teaching moments", when the door closes, the tears come!
Enjoy the pics...
Here is Matthew taking his very first nap with Daddy at just a few days old...
Here is Matty this past weekend napping with Daddy at 10 months old! This is a rare site and Brian caught it on his camera phone! So thankful for technology!

Matty in his car seat at one month old!
Not much has changed...just 12 pounds more, more hair, and a big boy car seat! Again, a rare site. Matthew is not a big fan of the new ride...

We have been hesitant to introduce our new baby as we did not know if she was going to stay...but, here she is. Bailey. She is as beautiful and sweet as she is wild and out of control. She is the sister of Jenny Rudd's dog Lola.
